The NATO Naval Mine Warfare Centre of Excellence will host and facilitate the NATO Naval Mine Warfare Working Group (NMWWG) Tactics, Tools and Evaluation Panel (TTEP) Publication Sub Group Mine Counter Measures Planning and Evaluation Tool (PSG MCM PET) Meeting 20-24 February 2017 as announced on the NSO NMWWG forum.
The PSG MCM-PET meeting sessions will venue at EGUERMIN, 3de en 23ste Linieregimentsplein, 8400 Oostende, Belgium.
- Start: Monday 20 February 09h00
- Working hours: daily 09h00 to approximately 17h00
- End: Meeting expected to run until Friday 24 February noon
Attendees are expected to be well versed in MCM doctrine, P&E methodology and the use of the legacy TDAs. Target audience is a combination of SMEs from operational positions and NMW education and training.
Dress for the PSG sessions is daily working uniform or business casual, for events outside the military premises casual.
Attendees are requested to make their own accommodation arrangements. The cost of accommodation is the responsibility of individual participants. Preferential rates for accommodation have been arranged with various hotels. The Hotel MERCURE, Hotel BERO and Hotel BURLINGTON will provide discount rates if EGUERMIN is referenced at time of booking. However, EGUERMIN will not interfere and cannot be held responsible for any disputes on accommodation. Participants are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Catering and social events:
Lunch is available at the all ranks mess, located at the premises of EGUERMIN. Lunches (€ 4,50 pp) are to be paid individually in cash. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. Social events will be planned on the first day of the meeting.
Parking and transport:
Parking for (rental) cars is available at EGUERMIN. Attendees wishing to park at EGUERMIN must provide their license plate number in advance during the registration process.
No group transport between the hotels and the meeting venue has been arranged, since all hotels are within walking distance.
During the online registration process (see link below) participants have to upload a copy of their Passport or Military ID and a copy of their Security Clearance.
